BRAILLE, CGC 10/20/02
August 2002, Braille started a
period of transitioning from the
Gentle Leader head collar to a
regular flat collar by attending
classes six hours a week for
nine weeks straight.
Sunday she took the AKC
CGC and passed it! We
certainly are proud of her for
the continued endless efforts.
Helen Keller's words best
describe what we can only
hope for as evidence and
proof. To be, you must do
something with your life and
situation.
"The best and most beautiful
things in the world cannot be
seen or even touched. They
must be felt with the heart."
"Do not think of today's
failures, but of success that may
come tomorrow. Remember, no
effort that we make to attain
something beautiful is ever lost.
Sometimes, somehow we shall
find that which we seek."
"I am only one, but still I am
one. I cannot do everything,
but still I can do something.
And because I cannot do
everything, I will not refuse to
do the something that I can
do."
"Life is either a daring
adventure or nothing."
"Alone we can do so little:
together we can do so much."
"Keep your face to the
sunshine and you can never see
the shadow."
"Life is a succession of
lessons which must be lived to
be understood."
"We can do anything if we
stick to it long enough."
"When we do the best we can, we never know what miracle is
wrought in our life, or in the life of another."
"Smell is a potent wizard that
transports us across thousands
of miles and all the years we
have lived."
"One can never consent to
creep when one feels an
impulse to soar."
"The highest results of
education is tolerance."
"Optimism is the faith that
leads to achievement.
Nothing can be done without
hope and confidence."
