Tributes to Mr. Seamus
What follows on these pages are the farewell wishes, joys and tributes to Mr. Seamus, SCBR
Official Senior Mascot. Like no other dog, he made a difference for the people who were a part
of his life, their world was his world. For his breed and all the homeless, unwanted boxers and
other dogs around the world that he so deeply committed to. These are the very people who
made his life worth living. You are the colors of the rainbow to us, thanks.

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Seamus. He was loved by everyone, but our love together
doesn't compare to the love you had for him. He will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies
and kindest regards go out to you. Francine, John, Amanda, Victoria, JJ, Blaze & Sebastian
I am so sorry to hear this, but at the same time, my heart soars with joy that he was able to
spend so many lovely years with you and your crew and with SCBR. My heart goes out to you,
and  Mr. Seamus. Play nice up there, will you? Many hugs, Bekah
I am so sorry. What did he pass from, I didn't know he was ill? That breaks my heart. I know
how much he was loved by you and all of his fans across the world. He blessed many people with
his charm and enthusiasm for life. He was such a sweet boy and such a noble dog. Rest in peace
sweet boy, you were loved by many, including me, even if I had never met you I still loved you
and felt close to you. I always enjoyed hearing about your adventures and seeing your sweet
face! Big hugs Janice and tears with you my friend. I am so sorry for your loss. Lisa
I'm so sorry, not only for you but for the boxer breed. Mr. Seamus did so much for boxers and
other dogs too. He is truly a special boy and will live on through his chronicles and your work.
I'm so thankful that I got to know him but I feel like I've lost a friend. Hugs, Karen & Boxer
Boys John & Schuller Paoli, IN in USA. They aren't my dogs, they're my friends.
We are so greatful that we had the antics of Mr. Seamus to delight and entertain us for the past
few years. He has truly demonstrated that there is life in the old boys yet. Thank you Mr.
Seamus. Run free at the bridge. We will greet you when we get there. From the Brindle Boxer
Hill
Since I have been a volunteer, I have always looked up to Mr. Seamus for advice and enjoyed
reading his story and updates. Now I can look up to the sky and know that he is there. I am
teary, but happy to know that you gave him the most wonderful and beloved years of his life. We
all know he was admired by all SCBR volunteers as the mascot of the organization. May you and
yours be blessed at this time of sadness and please know that me and my gang are paying for
you! Sarah & the furry K9 gang in Calais, Maine
I am so sorry to hear that Mr. Seamus is gone from this world. It is so wonderful that he was able
to keep doing what he loved (being a goodwill ambassador) to the very end. I know that he is
greeted at the bridge by all that are currently there. He will be waiting for you to join him there
one day. Hugs and tears, everyone will miss him. Kat & Tiger
Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear that your sweet boy has gone to the Bridge.
Please know that others are thinking of you in these tough times, and know that we are here for
you if you need a shoulder to cry on. Gentle hugs, Jessica
Oh my God. I can't believe what I just read. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your
family on this bittersweet occasion. I say bittersweet because it is a sad time for you and yours,
but he is running free and happily beyond the bridge. Hugs to you all, Gina Shana's Auntie
I'm so so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm sending big BC hugs your way. I'm so glad that Mr.
Seamus had such an incredible family to love him the way he deserved. Sincerely, Lisa, Murphy
& Riley
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Seamus! This is always the toughest time since we
love these wonderful dogs like cherished members of the family. I am so glad he had you to
share the last few years of his life and at least had love durung this time! I will also make a
donation to Mr. Seamus Memorial Fund. Jane
Though you gave me a heads up last night, it was still startling to hear of Seamy's passing. I'm
happy for him not to be earthbound by his infirmities any longer, but we will all miss him and his
goofy smile. He had everything a dog could wish for in your home, love, comfort, and
understanding and best of all, the important job of spreading the word about rescue far and wide.
He did an amazing job, and his story touched the hearts all over the world. Thank you for
everything you did for him, Janice, and thank you Mr. Seamus, for all you have done for the dogs
in need of rescue everywhere. Nora
We wish Mr. Seamus a safe journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Our hearts are heavy at his passing
and wish we could find the words to ease your grief. Just know that HE knows how much he was
loved and that he carries that love with him on his new journey while he leaves some of his spirit
at home in your heart. Karen Lakeland, FL
Mr. Seamus is truly a remarkable boy. The boxer breed has lost a wonderful ambassador and
work that Mr. Seamus did as the mascot for SCBR will serve as a tribute to him. He has touched
countless human lives and I'm sure made an impact on many many boxer's lives. I know that you
have a huge void in your life right now and your heart is breaking, but please take comfort in
knowing that you and Mr. Seamus made a difference. God speed, Mr. Seamus. You'll be missed.
Karen
It is with a heart filled with sadness that I read your e-mail regarding Seamy. You are his
Guardian Angel still and will always be that for him. He was a very unique boy and I enjoyed
getting the chance to meet him. This is a unique gift to be able to offer a boxer baby the gift of
finding love and acceptance so late in life. Know I understand and share your sadness. Keep well
and find strength in Bubba and Braille! Karla (edited)
Thank you for giving all of us in Western New York the opportunity to meet the amazing Mr.
Seamus. It was with much saddness that I read your e-mail. I can only imagine how heavy your
heart must be at this time. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers
at this difficult time. These wonderful creatures have such an amazing way of weaving their way
into our hearts like nothing else can. Take care - Love, Gail
How beautiful he was, and how wonderful a tribute! Godspeed Mr. Seamus! Shelley
