| I was shocked to see this note about Mr. Seamus' passing! He was the first boxer from SCBR with which I ever came in contact (it was Feb 2002 and my husband and I were researching Boxer rescues in the area and met both of you at a Newington, NH BRAD). I remember seeing this eldery looking Boxer who still had that wonderful twinkle in his eye and managed to look so noble even in his little St. Patrick's day hat! He was such a gentle soul. Neiko and I send our heartfelt sympathies to you and your family and Mr. Seamus' "brother & ister", Bubba and Braille. You will all meet again someday just this side of the Bridge. | My heart goes out to you and your family. Please know that because of you and Mr. Seamus, I first learned about rescues and SCBR and well, here I am today. It is because of your hard work spreading the news about SCBR that so many people have the Boxer of their dreams, like we do. I remember the first time I met Mr. Seamus, at the CT Boxer Bash 2 years ago and I instantly fell in love. His charm and good looks captured my heart, and I could see the love and patience in his eyes. Truly an angel blessing us all. Mr. Seamus, may you run wuth the wind, play like a champ and light the way for others at the Bridge. Good work, my friend. Our thoughts and love go out to you. The McPhee Family |
Oh, my heart sank as I read this. I am so terribly sorry. You have my deepest sympathies. We all loved Mr. Seamus and althought I never met him, I felt as if I knew him. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sadly, Faye, Zoey & Zena FL
I am very sorry for you loss. He was a wonderful boy and his stories always warmed my heart, as did his adorable pictures. He was a special, one-of-a-kind boy and I know you'll miss him terribly. I am so glad he had such a wonderful last 3 years. However, I know he left this earth and passed to the bridge a very happy and well loved boy. Hugs to you and take care, Kyrra
I know Mr. Seamus will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and touched by his stories. I know you made his years with you the very best and he had everything he needed in his life with you. God speed Mr. Seamus and be the very best ambassador watching over the rainbow bridge. Andrea, Johnnie & Sasha NYC, NY

I had not heard of Mr. Seamus before today but went to the links provided and read about him. What a wonderful old guy he must have been to so many people. The seniors have a way of getting to me as well. Beth Moody Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue
Our hearts go out to you all. Wish we could be there with hugs and how much Mr. Seamus gave on the visit here in Clinton. He had a wonderful life when he became mascot for SCBR. He was happy, very sweet, laid back and a pleasure to have as a house guest. He will be missed by all who had been blessed by his presense and company. We are smiling about his unique persona. He will live in our heart forever. He has been set free, jumping fences, drinking gallons of water and chasing butterflies as he waits for those he loved most at the Bridge. Rest well Mr. Seamus! Your work is not done yet. You've touched more hearts than most two leggeds who weren't loved as well. Elaine, Sashie & Family NY
I'm sure you are receiving so many e-mails, but I truly feel for everyone. He was such a wonderful boy and meant so much to so many. You were fantastic with him. You should be proud of the work you did for other. You are in my thoughts. Janet
That crack was the sound of my heart breaking. Gentle hugs my friends. He was so lucky to find you and you to find him. But he was one of the very, very special ones. The ones that grab your heart and just don't let go. Some of these kids I get to care about deeply as my own. He was one of them. Run free sweet boy. And thank you for what you are and what you did. Again and with all my heart, Gentle hugs, Meri

| I will always remember Seamy running with the boys in the yard! Happy as could be sure he was winning the race around the track, ears flying, lips flapping and running like the wind. You and Seamy did amazing things he will always be with you and all of us sparring us on to help save the next boxer in need. Rest in peace Seamy you will be missed. | We send our very deepest sympathy to you and your family at this heart-wrenching time. Mr. Seamus has been a wonderful ambassador, educator, mentor, and inspiration to us all!! Thank you for giving him the great life and opportunities that made his life so meaningful and powerful. We saw a happy, fulfilled and dedicated boy, and are honored to have hosted you all on your return home from the BASH. Mr. Seamus' joy continues as he runs free at the Bridge with all those who went before! You are in our thoughts and prayers. May you receive support and comfort, understanding and compassion in this most difficult time. Love, Ellen & Chuck CT |
Our sympathy falls flat at a time like this. What you gave to the Boxer World by your care and love of the truly royal, Mr. Seamus will be cherished forever. The longer they are a part of our lives, the harder it is to see them go from all the things Seamus meant to so many people; the people who make up the Boxer Community and, through all your work with the disabled, the elderly, the ill and the hurt, a far greater number of people that his, most "Boxerly" Spirit touched. He showed just what the most perfect Boxer quality is...the ability to give love and to have fun doing that. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, Jim, NJ
