Oh my goodness, Janice. I can barely breathe! Seamus has been within my heart since just after I got involved with SCBR and I can't begin to express my sorrow! I have referenced his "story" numerous times when speaking to prospective adopters, friends and skeptics alike. I so enjoyed following his "life" for the past several years, giggling at his pictures, getting inspiration from him and you! He is running free with our Angels, grateful for all you have given him. My heart aches for you, but I'm also lifted knowing my Zeus has a companion at the Bridge who had a Mommy that was as unselfish and giving as you. Fondly, Nicole
Our deepest sympathies, Seamus was an outstanding representation of rescue. He endured so much, touched so many, warmed the heart of all who met him. Thank you for being his "mom" taking him out to meet the places and people of the world; for showing everyone that no dog is too old. He will always be remembered as the ambassador to the great doors of SCBR, and that is because of his Mom standing in the wings, letting him shine. We light another candle today in memory of the great Seamus. May he continue to do the work he did here, over on the other side free from pain and illness, and once again filled with the essence of youth. God Bless. You are in our prayers too. We know how much you all loved that boy. May Seamus run where no leash too short, no fence too high, may he have all the pizza crust he desires, and may he run like the wind. With deepest sympathies, Lynn, Scott and the fury Whittakers
In this case, I don't think I can say Seamus can be any happier at the bridge than he was in your home. You really made his last years special...however, know that he will be healthy and young again to play as he so loves to do, and probably all the donuts he could possibly want. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers, Juls, Miles, Jake and all the Fur Kids
Mr. Seamus enjoyed a very rich life with you and I am sure he knew just how lucky he was to be a rescued dog. with an important job. He now runs free in the sunshine and is probably telling tales of BRAD's, picnics and other such gatherings, to the other dogs he is now with. And probably starting a new "website" for those he is with. We all feel his loss and hope that Bubba and Braille are not too stressed with the shrinking family. We are all thinking of you this evening, Dot, Clara & Abbi
I'm so sorry to hear about Mr. Seamus! I'm sure that the last four years of his life made up for all of the previous one, since being picked up off the street and going to the shelter then to rescue. God speed Mr. Seamus! Wanda Montgomery, AL
I'm so sorry to hear this news. Mr. Seamus is like something that was always there in my life Iin the background perhaps but always there never the less). To me, he stood for all things good - all the potentials that a rescue has to offer regardless of age, colour or whatever else. He was an inspiration and while he may now be gone, he will live in my memories forever (and many others I know). I hope you're doing ok, I know from my heart. It might please you to know that there are Mr. Seamus "wannabes" still out there. I'm going to light a candle for our special boy. Many hugs and much love from me and the Boxer crew downunder. Diane
I'm so sorry to hear we ALL lost Mr. Seamus. He was such a special boxer. He has touched so many lives and I sure he will continue his work at The Bridge helping others. We will ALL miss him so much. He was such a lucky boy to have had you to care and love him so much after such a hard life. Thank godness that the shelter staff cared for him too. It's really not "good-bye, but farewell dear friend until we meet again." I'm sending you love and hoping your broken heart heals fast. Jan, Odie, Eli Yacolt, WA
My heart goes out to you. I know it's easier said than done but you have lots of happy memories of him and you can cherish them for the rest of your life now. All Neon and I can give you and your family is a BIG hug. Take care, Marie & Neon

So sorry to hear that you have lost Mr. Seamus. He was so lucky to have had the chance to be a wonderful symbol to the boxer breed. He will always be remembered by all of us who knew of him. Now he is running and playing at the feet of god. I know you always love and miss him. Allen FL
I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Seamus passing away. I can only imagine what you are going through and my prayers are with you and your family. Never forget that those who leave us in human/pet form never leave in spirit or in our hearts. I know in my heart that Mr. Seamus is watching over you as you watched over him in his last hours. Know that you do not cry alone here. Mr. Seamus has a special place in so many hearts. Mr. Seamus as all dogs, are not only here on earth to live a life of fun, but to teach us and open our eyes to new things and to share his gifts of love with others. God Bless! We are so sorry! Ashley & Poindexter Dallas, TX
| What a loss you have suffered today. Mr. Seamus has touched all of us, but it is your home that is without him tonight. Mr. Seamus was such a very special boy. He loved and was so very loved by you in his final years. I can think of no greater boxer boy than Mr. Seamus to have been the SCBR mascot. Mr. Seamus, God speed. Your work here is done and it was a job well done. Be free and play and romp as a pup at the bridge. Your Mom and the rest of your family miss you very much. We all will miss you because you touched so many lives. Janice, thank you so much for sharing Mr. Seamus with us. I grieve with you, for your loss, but am very grateful to have known Mr. Seamus through you. May your heart heal and may Mr. Seamus soon be remembered with smiles and not tears.
