I follow the SCBR website and want to extend my deep and heartfelt sympathies on the passing
of this absolutely wonderful and beautiful boxer, Mr. Seamus,  who I'm sure has touched so
many lives. Thank you though for giving him what were no doubt the best years of his life.
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your beloved dog Mr. Seamus. I knw he was
more than just a regular dog, more than just a mascot, and more of an angel sent by God to help
all the boxer's of the world. God bless him and all he impacted  and made a difference for. I
know his spirit and soul will still rule in those who loved him. Rachel IL
I'm sad for your many friends, both firkids and skin folks too. You have made a mark on many
hearts that never met you, but loved you through the many kind deeds you and Janice did for
less fortunate boxers who all deserved much better than their heartless human companions often
dealt them. I don't know how your life was before you entered the shelter for the last time and
then SCBR, but perhaps you were there to make things better for so many others who needed
someone to love them. You loved him. You were a prince among the boxers and will be greatly
missed. Run free and happy with others at the Rainbow Bridge. Thank you for your life as
goodwill ambassador and for being the good 'ole soul you were. Lynne, Scarlett & Molly's Mom
Three years is a short time to show someone how much you love them but you and Mr. Seamus
made the most of everyday together where ever you want. There's no telling where he would
have been if it weren't for you. So sorry Deb & Dave
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your beloved dog. I know exactly what you are
going through. Lori Folson, NJ

Hi Janice, So sorry to hear about our boy Seamus. I know this is the hardest decision to make,
one I will need to make soon for Yarrow. Fortunately Mr. Grizzle is still his same wonderful self,
bad breath, farts warts and all, I love him regardless.I spent quite a while on your site last night
enjoying all the wonderful words and stories, and reliving the Boxer Bash memories here. I wish I
had known you were in NY recently, I would have loved to have seen you! Please stay in touch
and thanks for letting me know the sad news, you are in my thoughts, Carien

It was at the first SCBR Boxer Bash at Carien's that we announced to the whole SCBR family,
that Mr. Seamus would be our Official Senior Mascot. Mr. Grizzle and Mr. Seamus exchanged a
number of emails together about their new lives'. They both took a mighty fine picture together
with their bowties on. Carien also took the picture of The Incredible Handsome Mr. Seamus
standing in her field and used throughout the years. Thank you Carien.
I am truly sorry to hear this. God Bless, Bobbi & Shultz Pittsburgh, PA
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of adjustment. We've lost a member of
our big familt, too. and share your sorrow. We have fond memories of meeting Seamy at Nora's
picnic in 2002 - what a character! Even Jackson seemed to know he was special, he didn't growl
at him. You guys have done SO much good for rescue awareness and have warmed so many
hearts in the meantime. May you take comfort in your memories - Mr. Seamus will live on in our
hearts. Deanna NH
I am so so sorry to hear about Mr. Seamus. I will miss his stories on your website! I am also glad
we got to see him one more time at the Bash. He is truly a testment to what Rescue is all about. I
haven't known you and your boxer bunch as long as some of the other SCBR family has, but
what I know about Mr. Seamus, Braille and Bubba and you is that you have done so much for so
many. Thanks for all you do and share with us, Mr. Seamus will be missed very much. Angela &
Family NJ
I will forever remember Mr. Seamus trotting down Main Street at the Maine State Parade in
Lewiston, ME as if he owned the town. Could that boy prance to show his happiness and joy. We
should all live so well! Barbara
I was so choked up to get this email about Mr. Seamus. I never met him, but through you, I
loved him. And of course, he reminded me so much of my Sadie, who I lost last October - the
worst day of my life. You were lucky to have him as long as you did, even though 50 years
wouldn't be long enough. I feel for you and all there at SCBR. I'll miss him terribly. Lisa
Oh Janice, I clicked on the Mr. Seamus link on the SCBR site and I almost fell out of my chair.
That song you selected for Seamus is the same song I was singing to Rachel the last 2 days of
her life. I wasn't sure why I was walking around humming it back in November and then I figured
it out. It was our song! "looking through the eyes of love" and the first words "Please, don't let
this feeling end." I just looked at Seamy's pictures and cried, mostly of joy for he found you and
you found him nothing more wonderful than that. You can't help cry a river when you look at that
beautiful slide show you put together to the song "somewhere over the rainbow". It was
BEAUTIFUL. Thank you for sharing his very special life with us. What a team you were! All my
best. E
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. I will light a candle for Mr. Seamus. Know now
that he is in a better place and free from pain. God speed, Mr. Seamus. Kristy TX
